Maternity sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate your growing family. Take the time to slow down and document this special time in your life while you are pregnant. With all the joys and hard emotions that come with our bodies changing during pregnancy, you are worth feeling celebrated, beautiful, and seen.
When should you book a maternity session?

Of course you can announce your pregnancy at any time you feel comfortable. For the sake of having people see in the images that you are expecting, I recommend scheduling an announcement session once you are showing.
Props are not necessary but I have had clients bring sonograms and little shoes. We can always brainstorm together!

My priority for our maternity session is for you to feel seen and celebrated - and I find most prefer to feel comfortable in their body still. The ideal time for feeling comfortable is typically between 28 and 32 weeks. If you are having twins, we may want to book closer to 28 weeks because twins tend to come early.
The last thing I would want is for you to feel stressed about not getting your maternity photos done because the baby is due soon!
I did in fact have a client who went into labor early at 36 weeks after our session!
Don’t know what to wear? I have a closet full of bump friendly dresses available for you to borrow! And, I always help style the whole family at no cost.
